Jim Dolce is the Chief Executive Officer and a Member of the Board of Directors at Lookout. He has been the founder of four successful technology companies and has held executive positions at both Juniper Networks, Inc. and Akamai Technologies, Inc. Jim joined Lookout in March 2014 to guide the cybersecurity company into its next stage of growth. That included re-architecting Lookout’s products, leadership, and workforce to serve large businesses and government agencies that seek to embrace the benefits of mobility without sacrificing security. In addition to his responsibilities at Lookout, Jim is a dedicated philanthropist. His Foundation supports education for groups that have historically been underserved in the STEM fields, including woman and students from low income areas, as well as programs providing essential services to veterans and military families. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
Missy Ballew most recently served as the Global Head of Talent, Learning & Diversity at HP where she was responsible for building and implementing the strategy for the company’s performance management, talent & succession planning, learning & development, and diversity & inclusion. Previously, Missy led HR for HP’s Enterprise Security Products (ArcSight, Fortify, TippingPoint, Atalla), the Online Business, and Business Personal Systems. In those roles, she was responsible for driving the development and execution of global HR strategies, including: organizational design, workforce planning, learning and development, recruiting, talent management, total rewards, and strategic business transformation. Missy joined HP in 2011 from Hewitt Associates where she worked as a senior consultant in the Talent Management and HR Effectiveness consulting practice, partnering with companies across industries and countries to develop and deliver strategic HR solutions. While at Hewitt, Missy leveraged her fluency in Spanish in her role as the Strategic Partner for Latin America to build talent management capabilities in the region. Missy received a golf scholarship to Louisiana State University where she earned her Bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Spanish. She received her Masters of Arts in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University in New York
Aaron joined Lookout with nearly 20 years of software product management experience. As the Chief Strategy Officer, Aaron is responsible for developing, validating and implementing cross-functional strategic product initiatives that align with the Lookout vision of a secure connected world. Most recently, he served as VP of Mobile Technologies at Citrix, where he and his team were responsible for the development of Citrix’s mobile apps and container technology, while driving the acquisition of Zenprise. Prior to working on mobile technologies, Aaron drove the creation of Citrix’s desktop virtualization product, XenDesktop, which grew into more than $1 billion yearly revenue for Citrix during his five years of leadership. Before joining Citrix, Aaron worked for Akamai leading product management on their enterprise content delivery solution as well as working on the development and deployment of many of Akamai’s advanced content delivery networking technologies. Prior to that, Aaron led product management for OneSoft’s e-commerce system, and he held multiple positions at BHP Billiton in Australia. He holds a BE Materials (Honors) from Wollongong University, Australia.
Marc Jaffan joined Lookout as Vice President, Business & Corporate Development and is responsible for the development of strategic alliances and partnerships. This includes the formation and management of technology and ecosystem relationships that expand Lookout's solution and routes to market. Marc brings over 20 years of experience to Lookout, most recently as VP Strategic Alliances and Partner Ecosystem at Brocade. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth and expanding the company’s reach through partners in this $2.5B operation. Prior to Brocade, Marc served as a Global Sales lead at Cisco for the Dimension Data Partnership, one of Cisco's largest global partners, and before that Head of Worldwide Service Provider Mobility Partners. He joined Cisco through the acquisition of Starent Networks, where he served as VP of Channel and Alliance Sales. Before Starent, he was at Juniper Networks as VP of Global Strategic Alliances and later as VP of Worldwide Sales Operations. He joined Juniper through the acquisition of Unisphere Networks, where he led Alliances and Corporate Development. He began his career in the Finance and Telecommunications divisions of Siemens AG in Munich, Germany. Marc received his undergraduate degree from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and law degree from The Catholic University of America School of Law in Washington, D.C.
As the Chief Development Officer at Lookout, John has responsibility for all aspects of the product development and cloud operations, bringing 30 years of domain experience in platform technologies and a demonstrated track record of building high performance organizations. John joined Lookout in November 2014 and opened the Boston development center and built it ground up to more than 70 employees today. As VP Engineering, his role expanded to include responsibility for a global organization consisting of more than 100 employees across our San Francisco, Boston, Toronto and India offices. Previously, John served in various management and leadership roles at Nuance Communications, Juniper Networks and other market leading technology companies where he led product development for speech recognition and networking products. John received a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell Ma.
As Chief Product Officer at Lookout, Santosh is responsible for product management and the ongoing development of predictive security solutions that protect individuals and enterprises alike from mobile attacks. Previously, he was the head of ventures at Akamai Technologies where he focused on strategic investments in early-stage companies. He also served as Senior Director of Product Management at Akamai for the licensed CDN portfolio. In 2006, Santosh co-founded Verivue, a CDN solutions company, and served as Vice President of Products, until the company was acquired by Akamai in 2012. Santosh started his career as a research scientist and product architect at Bell Labs (then part of Lucent Technologies), where among other projects, he was an architect of Lucent’s best-selling switching chipset. Santosh holds a PhD with distinction from Columbia University and a B. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, both in Computer Science.
Mark brings nearly 30 years of finance and operations experience to Lookout, most recently as VP Worldwide Sales Operations and Sales Finance at Brocade. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of global sales and service operations, sales development, sales and marketing financial planning and analysis and revenue forecasting in this $2.5B operation. Prior to Brocade, Mark served as the Chief Financial Officer for VeriVue, a content delivery solution company. Before VeriVue, was Vice President of Sales Finance and later Vice President of Worldwide Sales Processes and Operations at Juniper Networks. He joined Juniper through the acquisition of Unisphere Networks, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and managed the Company’s growth from development stage to more than $200M annual revenue over a 2-year period. He's also served as Corporate Controller at Dragon Systems, a provider of advanced speech recognition products and LTX Corporation, a manufacturer of semiconductor test equipment. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
Satendar joined Lookout as SVP and Head of Sales for Embedded Products, which includes our SDK based solution Lookout App Defense. In this role, Satendar is responsible for the overall strategy and development of the App Defense business globally by leveraging our Global Sales machinery as well as our strategic GTM partners. Prior to Lookout, Satendar was the CRO of Austin-based security startup NSS Labs, where he led the global sales teams for their Enterprise and Vendor businesses. Prior to NSS, Satendar was the SVP & Global Head of Sales at Zimperium. In his three years at Zimperium, he was instrumental in building the company’s sales force, executing on the company’s business plan and onboarding and signing strategic partnerships with MSPs and other security companies. Prior to Zimperium, Satendar spent eight years with CA Technologies, the first five of those with a Dallas area DevOps startup called iTKO which was acquired by CA Technologies in 2011 for $320M. At iTKO, Satendar was instrumental in building their strategic GTM partner network that was responsible for 75% of the company’s business. Satendar started his career at i2 Technologies, where he spent 10 years in a variety of roles. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University & a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
Firas is responsible for developing and managing Lookout’s distribution partnerships for Lookout's Consumer products with mobile operators, device OEMs, retailers and other partners globally. He has extensive business development background at a number of wireless and mobile startups, with a record of creative deal-making and revenue generation.
Gert-Jan joins Lookout with more than twenty years experience in leading security and network software businesses throughout EMEA. At Lookout, Gert-Jan helms the company’s continued growth in the region including establishing new channels and strengthening carrier partnerships for consumer and enterprise businesses alike. Most recently, Gert-Jan joins Lookout from Intel Security (formerly McAfee) where as President of EMEA he turned around the business to be the company’s top performing region. Previously, Gert-Jan was Senior Vice President of EMEA at Juniper Networks where he managed 900 employees throughout the region and grew revenues from $600 million to $1.2 billion over three years.
Bob Stevens heads up Lookout’s Federal team, the focus of which is to provide mobile threat visibility and protection to federal agencies, across military, civilian and intelligence sectors. Bob has more than 25 years experience building federal businesses, teams, and go-to market strategies. Prior to joining Lookout, Bob led Symantec Federal, a $275M operation with over 100 team members. He also led the development of Juniper Networks Federal Systems, growing it to $120M in just six years. Bob has also held leadership positions at Network Equipment Technologies, Bivio Networks, and Brocade Communications. Before entering the private sector, Bob served in the United States Air Force as an engineer at the White House Communications Agency. Bob is an avid golfer and loves cycling, running, boating, and camping.
