The Latest Guidance To Secure Mobile Devices

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is the leading laboratory and a non-regulatory agency of the United States Department of Commerce, which researches and promotes innovation and industrial competitiveness. Across industries, NIST is trusted by CISOs to provide guidance and best practices for maintaining effective security protections that apply to most commercial organizations.

NIST has released Special Publication (SP) 800-124: Guidelines for Managing the Security of Mobile Devices in the Enterprise. This comes at a time when your employees rely on mobile devices accessing corporate data to keep their business productive. According to Gartner, “by 2020, 90% of global enterprises will have implemented business processes that depend on a mobile device*.”

Join this webinar to hear from NIST and Lookout as they discuss:

  • Why organizations should follow NIST guidelines
  • What mobile security updates were made to NIST Special Publication 800-124
  • Where mobile threat defense fits in today’s corporate security strategy
  • Why phishing has been added as a key concern in Special Publication 800-124
