A company’s brand is more than just its logo and color palette. It’s a signal to the world about their vision and commitment. This is why I’m super excited that Lookout is debuting a reimagined identity and position centered around freedom of control.
Lookout started its journey in 2007 trailblazing the concept of mobile security. At the time, smartphones were just beginning to take off and we recognized that this piece of technology needed to be protected as it became an essential part of everyday life.
Fast forward to today, our world has become even more connected — and data is at the center. A hacked mobile phone can bring down a Fortune 500 company, while a corporate breach can expose the private information of millions of people.
Over the past several years, we’ve evolved our offerings to better safeguard both personal and corporate data, including the launch of our enterprise mobile security products and the introduction of security service edge (SSE) solutions.
But to meet this movement, we also need to evolve our story. This is why we’ve completely reimagined our identity, which includes a new look and feel including a more vibrant green, yellow and blue color palette — and a brand new logo that we’re affectionately calling “the wingspan” that represents the freedom of control.
Protecting data isn’t as simple as locking down information. We believe what’s far more powerful is what we can help unlock and set free.
The most important thing you need to know is that we're doubling down on our data-centric approach. We recognize that organizations are each embracing digital transformation at a different pace. I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone at Lookout who has worked on this project. I’m incredibly proud of what we have put together. This is just the beginning though. With this bold new vision and identity, we will continue to tackle evolving cybersecurity challenges. Our goal is to protect your data, whether it’s personal or corporate, without getting in the way of your work or life.
