Today, employees have gone mobile as apps and data have moved to the cloud where they can be accessed from anywhere in the world, often through unsecured connections (e.g. a Wi-Fi hotspot). Firewall-centric strategies – once the backbone of enterprise security– are no longer sufficient. With business data and apps everywhere, there's no way to enforce a perimeter around them.
